On board our bikes you will reach the Medoacus Lands, an area almost unexplored by tourists but so rich in wonders. The area extends all the way to the Venice Lagoon, the so-called South Lagoon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site , where you willfind characteristic fishing valleys, including the WWF oasis of Valle Averto. Intensive fish farming is practiced here, in a promiscuous environment where freshwater and saltwater meet, giving rise to a very rich variety of flora and fauna.

Lands of nature and industrial archaeology
You will continue to ride surrounded by nature, among the fields and rich vegetation of an area that certainly has no lacks water. In fact, the area is located below sea level and water regulation is of vital importance. Only in the nineteenth century with the'Idrovora', which is currently in use and can be visited, techniques were perfected of land reclamation and conservation. To this day the Idrovora preserves inside it original machinery that has become pieces of industrial archaeology.
Riding a bicycle between museums and churches
The Meduaco Lands have also been affected by important archaeological excavations that prove the very ancient origin of the territory. Visits can be made to the medieval small church of Santa Maria in Lugo, the small church of Santa Giustina and the Mus.Te.La. Ethnographic Museum in Lova, and the Mino Meduaco Archaeological Museum in Bojon (which requires a short detour).
The one in the Meduaco Lands will be an original experience, outside the usual crowded tourist circuits to discover places and attractions that are not usually taken by storm by the masses.
